The macOS build was failing because it requires macos-alias, which is a transitive dependency of an optional dependency of @electron-forge/maker-dmg.

macos-alias had a node-gyp postinstall step that was failing. The issue is that it was picking up the wrong node-gyp (from sqlite3, which is a depdendency of @redux-devtools/cli) instead of @electron/node-gyp. That node-gyp is very old (8.x) and does not work with Python 3.13.

It's not easy to fix this because macos-alias doesn't actually declare any dependency on node-gyp, so we can't override it with a resolution or anything. It just expects a node-gyp to be in the environment.

The easiest thing we can do here is to specify this node-gyp "globally" here. It's a bit "ugly" to pollute the global namespace, but the Electron build appears to be the only place we actually need node-gyp currently.

A more proper solution would be to create a workspace that wraps macos-alias and adds an @electron/node-gyp dependency, and then use a Yarn resolution to override macos-alias with our custom workspace. But that seems unnecessarily complicated. We can revisit that approach if we ever need it.
