[CI] fix iOS build issue following D9470

Summary:
this looks like it fixes the CI. added my changes from D9470 and this fix and the CI passed:

Test Plan: see the summary. also built for both aarch64 and x86_64 on my local machine. also ran an archive (Product -> Archive in Xcode) and it succeeded
