expo-splashscreen changed splashscreen behavior and uses new Android's splash screen api.
That means:
- we no longer can specify a background image in the splashscreen on Android, just a solid color
- we can only put an icon (or text in our case) in the center of the splashscreen
- SplashScreenActivity is no longer used, so I deleted it
- in the login screen Comm text was centered so the transition between the splashscreen and login screen is smooth
